Members of the FDNY Bravest Boxing Club are getting ready to lace up their gloves and leave it all in the ring at Thrilla in Camilla 9, a charity boxing event taking place Friday, June 13, to benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

The event, sanctioned by USA Boxing, will be held outdoors at Saint Camillus—located at 185 Beach 99th St. in Rockaway Beach—where FDNY’s Bravest Boxing Club will go head-to-head with Ireland’s National Police and Security Service in a spirited evening of amateur boxing.

Proceeds from the event will support Tunnel to Towers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring America’s heroes. The foundation provides mortgage-free homes to Gold Star families and the families of fallen first responders with young children, and builds smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. Founded in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks, Tunnel to Towers also works to combat veteran homelessness and ensure the legacy of 9/11 heroes is never forgotten.

The evening will feature 12 bouts of amateur boxing, with both teams showcasing their skills for a cause rooted in sacrifice and service. The FDNY Emerald Society Pipes and Drums will make a special appearance, and guests can enjoy food and beverages on-site.

Tickets are available now online, with general admission priced at $31.60, ringside seats at $52, and VIP ringside seating at $103. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the first bout is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
